01 Where your buyers are going

Your own name sends people to Instagram.

Not to your shop.

With the www, your shop. Under half a second on every check, 28 August 2026.

Without it, Instagram. Both http and https, checked 28 August 2026.

There is nothing wrong with your shop.

It is fast, it is secure and it scores 93 out of 100 on an independent audit. The problem is the door. A buyer who types your name the obvious way never reaches it, and your own homepage banner sends them to Instagram as well.

02 How many people are searching

Nineteen thousand people a year look for you by name.

That is 1,600 every month typing your name into Google. Not the category, not a competitor - you. That demand is already yours and it cost nothing to earn.

“For latest updates please visit our Instagram.”

The banner across the top of your own shop, 28 August 2026.

So the people who already want you are handed to a feed they cannot buy from.

Searching your name, every year
0 demand you already own, arriving at a redirect.
The category around you
1.1M a year searching for the pieces you stock. Contested, not yours yet.
What is missing
One redirect, pointing your own name at your own shop.

Google Ads Keyword Planner, 28 August 2026. Checked against the Nuwara Eliya place name, which does not share your twelve-month curve, so Google separates the town from the business.

03 The category around you

And the category around you is large.

These are the pieces you already stock, searched in the markets where your buyers live.

One year of searching, split by piece. The thicker the band, the more people are searching. Worldwide, Google Ads Keyword Planner, 28 August 2026.
People searching, every year
0 a year worldwide for the pieces you stock. A contested category, not one you own yet.
What that would cost you in ads
$0 a year to buy that traffic. Being found costs nothing per visit.

Six terms, worldwide, deduplicated for close variants. Each term’s yearly searches multiplied by its own cost per click, then summed.

One thing worth knowing

Your own name is the smaller number and the better one. Those nineteen thousand searches already know who you are.

Your buyers are mostly abroad.

Under four per cent of this searching happens in Sri Lanka. The rest is the diaspora.

United States
57% of every search in this set. The largest Sri Lankan community abroad.
Top four markets together
95% United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada.
Sri Lanka itself
3.4% Your home market is the smallest one you sell into.

The same six buying terms in each market, English, pulled 28 August 2026 from the Google Ads Keyword Planner via DataForSEO. Seven markets measured; yearly figures are the monthly measurement multiplied by twelve.

04 Who is getting these buyers

Six houses came back. You did not.

Sri Lankan jewellers selling what you sell. These are the names the searches returned, and each was opened and read before it was named here.

Selling what you sell

Observed 28 August 2026, then each site fetched and read to confirm it is a trading shop. A record of that day, not a ranking report.

Only one is far ahead. The rest sit between 56 and 165 sites pointing at them, against your 37. Your shop scores 93 on a technical audit and still sits last here, because this measures how findable you are rather than how well the site is built: five of the six publish a description for Google to quote, and four tell Google what kind of business they are. Yours does neither.

Visibility score, out of 100

Google trust 80, AI readability 20. Augmara’s composite, not a Google metric.

05 What stands in the way

Nine things, all fixable.

This is everything standing between your shop and the people already looking for it. None of it is unusual, and none of it is hard to fix.

What we could not check from outside.

Everything above was measured from outside, because a website is public. What happens after someone messages you is not, and for a shop selling abroad that is usually where the larger leak is.

These are questions, not findings. They are what the 45 minutes is for.

06 What we would build

Growth infrastructure, not a website.

A buyer has to reach the shop, see the piece properly, get an answer while they are still deciding, and hear from you next season. Your shop does the second of those.

The shop is one of four parts.

Reaching you, being convinced, being answered and being remembered are four different systems. A buyer abroad needs all of them.

You already have the shop. What is missing is everything around it that gets a buyer to the shop and back again. What we build first is what the meeting decides.

07 What happens next

45 minutes

There is no price in this document, on purpose. We would rather understand your orders and your margins before putting a number to anything.

Your numbers
The questions above
What to build first
Timeline and cost
We bring

Every measurement behind this document, and the redirect fix written out ready to hand to whoever holds your domain.

You bring

Rough numbers. Orders a month, where they come from, and your margin.

You leave with

The order we would build in, and a costing worked from your own numbers rather than ours. Yours to keep either way.
